ASUS Global Pte. Ltd. (“ASUS”) Cash back Promotion (the “Promotion”) Terms and Conditions:

  1. Subject to these terms and conditions Customers of ASUS are eligible to trade in your existing Tablet “Trade-In Device” where your tablet meets our Trade-In Criteria and, subject to these terms and conditions, be eligible to receive a Trade-In Rebate of either £30 or £50 when you purchase a brand new Qualifying Product as defined in clause five (5) below.
  2. For your existing tablet to qualify for the Trade-up Reward it must have a diagonal screen size of 7” or more and be complete and undamaged (reasonable wear and tear excepted) (the “Trade-up Criteria). For the avoidance of doubt each of the following is considered beyond reasonable wear and tear; cracked/split/damaged/water damaged, open chassis structure, cracked or non-working display and does not power on. Do not return any documentation or external chargers/storage devices or power supply units.
  3. These terms and conditions apply between you and the Promoter, and your participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
  4. The Promotion only applies to purchases from Authorised ASUS Resellers and Distributors made 19th of January 2015 – 15th of March 2015 (inclusive) (“Promotional Period”).

  6. The Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle Of Man (“Territory”). Employees of ASUS and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, stockists, retailers, advertising representatives and agencies, who are involved in the Promotion, and the immediate families of any of the foregoing persons, are NOT ELIGIBLE for this Promotion.
  7. You must register your claim online at www.ASUSPromotions.com/uk/en/tablettradeup and provide proof of your purchase of a Qualifying Product within fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase. The date of purchase as indicated on your receipt or invoice is counted as day one (1). Claims received outside this period will be marked as invalid and will not be accepted. Provided your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation email within two (2) working days. You will be sent a box to securely return your old device free of charge. Place your old tablet into the box and affix the returns label to the front and barcode to the back of the item and drop off the box at the post office. The Promoter must receive the qualifying Trade In Tablet within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase. Trade-up Rewards for all valid Claims shall be paid by bank transfer within thirty (30) calendar days of validation.
  8. Only invoices and receipts will be accepted as proof of purchase. The purchase price of the Qualifying Product purchased must be clearly indicated as paid. If you fail to provide a proof of purchase acceptable to the Promoter, or if an incomplete claim form is received, a notification email will be sent to you with the opportunity for you to provide the required items within seven (7) working days from the email being sent. If no reply is received within such seven (7) working days then the claim for cash back will be rejected.
  9. Only one trade-in claim per Qualifying Product purchased will be accepted. You may trade-in up to a maximum of five (5) Trade-In Devices during the Promotional Period.
  10. After you submit a claim to the Promoter and receive a valuation from the Promoter, you are not obliged to take up the price offered for the Trade-In Device, and you may still proceed with the purchase of a Qualifying Product or other product.
  11. For your Trade-In Device to qualify for the full Trade-In Rebate it must, as determined by the Promoter, meet the Trade-In Criteria. If your Trade-In Device does not meet these conditions then your Trade-In Device will be either:
    1. Valued by the Promoter for a fair amount and the Promoter will notify you of that fair amount. You will have ten (10) days to accept or decline the Promoter's proposed revised Trade-In Rebate. If you do not reply to the Promoter, the Promoter will automatically accept the proposed revised Trade-In Rebate and process it for payment to you. If you decline the revised Trade-In Rebate, then the Promoter will return your Trade-In Device to you;
    2. Returned to you free of charge.
  12. If you return your Qualifying Product then you will lose your entitlement to a Trade-in Rebate for that Qualifying Product. If possible, your Trade-In Device will be returned to you, without charge.
  13. Deletion of all data and information stored in the Trade-In Device and/or other storage media to be traded-in is your absolute responsibility. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for your data and software. Upon receipt by the Promoter of the Trade In-Device all data will be permanently and irretrievably destroyed. Please note the Promoter is unable to retrieve any Customer data once a Trade-In Device has been received.
  14. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter cannot accept liability for any Trade-In Devices lost, damaged or destroyed during delivery and recommends that you securely package your device prior to sending. The Promoter is unable to accept hand delivery of Trade-In Devices.
  15. Provided that the terms and conditions of this Promotion have been met, your rebate will be paid to you by bank transfer. Typically payments are made within thirty (30) days.
  16. The rebate is inclusive of all taxes and bank transfer fee. Where this rebate payment constitutes a taxable benefit, all tax liability lies with the recipient.
  17. The instructions contained within the Website form part of these Terms.
  18. To use all services provided in this Website, you acknowledge and accept this ASUS Promotion Terms and Conditions, Terms of Use Notice and Privacy Policy of this Website. The Promoter reserves the right to closely monitor usage of the Website, including the user's IP addresses, so that the Promoter may identify misuse, and disqualify and/or invalidate applications if the Promoter has reason to believe the Terms of the Promotion have been breached.
  19. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the information and/or documentation, for the purpose of making cash back claim (the “Documentation”), upload, transmit, input or provide to this Website by you. When you uploaded, transmitted, inputted or provided the Documentation to this Website, you grant ASUS, its affiliates and subsidiaries, a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-revocable, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable right to promote and distribute part or all of the documentation in any media formats with any manner, including without limitation to reproduce, transmit, adapt, distribute, or otherwise use the Documentation, and all the Documentation will not be returned. If you do not have authorization for the above right, please do not upload, transmit, input or provide Documentation to this Website. Submission of false, incorrect, misleading or fraudulent Documentation may result in disqualification from this Promotion and future ASUS Promotions and may result in the submitter of the claim being subject to prosecution.
  20. The Promotion is not transferrable to another individual or business. Claims will only be accepted from the original purchaser of a Qualifying Product.
  21. If the Promoter, in its sole discretion, rejects a claim because these Terms have not been met, the Promoter's decision is final.
  22. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website, or other failures or damage of any kind to the extent that this prevents you from or otherwise obstructs you in participating in the Promotion.
  23. ASUS reserves the right to amend or cancel the terms of this offer without notice.
